HVAC Service in Shreveport, Louisiana

Shreveport is our home base. Red River Comfort Solutions works out of 3775 Roy Rd in north Shreveport, so calls anywhere in the city, from the neighborhoods near Cross Lake to Broadmoor, South Highlands, Highland and the Shreve City area, are on our normal route.

Shreveport's housing covers more than a century of construction. Older homes in neighborhoods like Highland and South Highlands were often built before central air and had ductwork added later. That frequently means undersized returns, ducts in tight attics, and rooms that never cool evenly. Newer homes in the southeast part of the city are more likely to have higher-efficiency equipment that needs correct refrigerant charge and clean coils to perform as rated.

Northwest Louisiana summers are long, hot and humid, so an air conditioner here has two jobs: lowering temperature and pulling moisture out of the air. A system that is oversized will short-cycle, cool the house quickly and leave it feeling damp. When we replace equipment, we size it to the house rather than simply matching the old unit.

What we do in Shreveport: AC repair, AC replacement and installation, furnace and heating repair, seasonal maintenance, and thermostat installation.
